Friends of Middle East was founded by a free initiative of Christians, linked in love for the God's Word and for the Bible' lands.

FME is dedicated to enhancing relations of friendship and solidarity with Middle East peoples, especially in Holy Land, Syria and Turkey. Our focus on "Word-Land-Peoples" close binding encourages a deeper approach to the Holy Book and a more aware vision of the cultural and social Middle East landscape.

Since December 3rd, 2007 FME is enrolled in the Florence Province Section of Non Profit Organizations Regional Register. The Memorandum of Association lays down the aims and scope, structure and membership.

Following Jesus, FME is committed to being an active part of the Catholic Church who offers everybody an open dialogue, who gives everyone friendship, who looks for everyone's collaboration.
